Various industry-academia exchange meetings have been made available for private firms, universities and research institutions in and out of Nagano Prefecture. The purpose of these meetings is for collection of data on research groups and examination of the best research group/development need thereby creating new industries.

Utilization of Facilities Supporting Government-Industry-Academia Alliances

A variety of collaborative government-industry-academia projects for product commercialization have been completed employing the University Factory of Nagano (UFO) and the Asama Research Extension center (AREC). Both of these facilities have been established on Shinshu University's campus.
